Why do I actually need a sprinkler blow-out?
Water left in your pipes freezes, expands, and breaks underground pipes, valves, and expensive backflow preventers over the winter. A professional blow-out uses high-volume air to push that water out, saving you from costly repairs and big headaches come springtime.
When is the best time to schedule a blow-out?
Freeze warnings can sneak up fast! We usually open our blow-out schedule at the beginning of September. If you need to get your system cleared, just send us a message or fill out our contact form, and we’ll check our current calendar to get you on the schedule!
As long as we have access to your main sprinkler shut-off valve (usually in the basement or crawlspace) and your outside control box or backflow assembly, you don't need to stay home! We'll take care of everything and leave a note when we're all wrapped up.
Do you offer drainage only?
We exclusively offer high-volume compressed-air blow-outs. While some companies might tell you gravity draining is enough, we’re not willing to take that risk with your system! Hidden water left behind in low spots and valves easily freezes and bursts. At Big Sam Sprinklers LLC, we’re committed to giving you the best possible service—which saves you money by making sure we don't have to come back and repair avoidable winter damage!
