IRRIGATION FAQS
-
Most standard appointments—including seasonal startups, system tune-ups, or standard inspections—take under two hours to complete. While larger troubleshooting jobs or extensive repairs can occasionally take between 4 to 8 hours, our efficient diagnostics mean we usually have things flowing smoothly in no time.
-
Fall blowouts tend to take a bit longer because we are meticulous about winterizing your entire system. We use pressurized air to clear out every drop of water from your lines, valves, and heads to prevent costly freeze damage during cold weather.
Big Sam Tip: Fall is also the absolute best time to repair your soil! We highly recommend scheduling an Aeration & Overseeding service alongside your blowout to help your lawn build deep, healthy roots over the winter so it bounces back thick and green in the spring.
-
To ensure the highest quality of service, we focus strictly on maintenance, repairs, efficiency upgrades, and seasonal prep. We do not offer large-scale new installations, full system removals, or certified backflow testing/replacements. We do plan to do these services in the future and will keep our customers updated!
-
We carry a wide variety of common repair parts right in the truck! If we spot a broken nozzle, cracked pipe, or leaking valve during your diagnostic or tune-up, we can usually fix it on the spot during the same visit. If we dont have the part, we will schedule a time to come out and make the repair. You only pay for the extra time and the cost of the repair parts.
-
For Fall Blowouts and Startups, we usually need access to your garage or basement to turn the main water valve on or off and access the controller, so someone will need to be home. For standard outdoor repairs or zone adjustments, as long as your gates are unlocked and pets are inside, you don’t need to take the day off work!
-
A lot! Many homeowners inadvertently waste hundreds of gallons of water by running their systems too long or at the wrong times of day. During a controller optimization, we program your timer for maximum seasonal efficiency—helping you maintain a gorgeous lawn while noticeably dropping your summer water bill.
